Are you a parent of a kiddo struggling with a behavior(s) that is impacting your day to day life at home? Are you an adult who feels overwhelmed and your tendencies are affecting your relationships or career? Are you seeing or feeling other signs of potential depression or significant anxiety levels? Do things seem to be more of a struggle than they used to be?
I support children, adolescents, adults and their families as a diagnoses, involving the highly sensitive self, may seemingly be 'taking over.' I work with my traditional and evidence based modalities to teach cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and movement. I meet my client where they are at in terms of what they want to see change, and how. There are strengths involved in any diagnosis, and I want to empower you to tap into these to create your own destiny.
My first experience working with those with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD began over a decade ago, when I was working as a volunteer offering equine therapy. I am still a believer in experiential practices, but also have seen the benefits of psychotherapy and learning new coping skills to help navigate your own world. I spent my first several years in Colorado in the 'adult world' where I supported and guided families through the process of how to gain the most resources for their environment. I completed the LEND fellowship in 2012 where I worked with a multidisciplinary team, and learned the power of professionals and families working together to create change.
